Darcio Reserva is a Spanish red wine from Rioja Alta, one of the three principal wine-producing areas within the Rioja appellation. It is made from Tempranillo, Spain's signature red grape variety.

According to a published product description, Darcio Reserva is produced using the traditional trasnocho method, also known as vino de repiso. The grape skins are allowed to drain overnight, extracting the remaining juice gently and producing a cleaner, more refined wine.

The wine is fermented in stainless-steel tanks before undergoing 24 months of maturation in French and American oak barrels. This extended ageing develops complexity, softens the tannins and integrates the fruit flavours with notes of vanilla, spice and toasted oak.
