Campos Reales Canforrales Lucia (2007)

This old cooperative of over 750 farmers is located in El Provencio in the winemaking region of La Mancha. Surrounded by abundant holm oaks and pine trees, the vineyards has clay and calcareous (lime) soil. So such special conditions added by a very long tradition of winemaking history Campos Reales is truly a very high class wine producer.

The grape variety Airen has survived over centuries and these old vines produce small quantities of grape per vine with intense flavour and fruitiness. The harvest is from early to mid-September. Fermentation takes place very slowly at low temperature in stainless steel tanks which helps to keep the fruitiness and original aromas.

Very pale yellow, with a clean green apple nose. Good structure, easy and pleasant to drink. Fresh, finely balanced acidity and long after taste.

Shellfish and white fish (steamed or grilled). Goats cheese and smoked sheep or cows-milk cheeses.
