This very old and famous vineyard in Valdepenas was originally and still is a shooting lodge. It is family owned and run bodegas. The grapes are hand-picked at dawn in late August to early September. Cooled maceration and temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation takes place over 6 days at 28°C, followed by malolactic fermentation.

Lively crimson red highlighted by deep violet and bluish tones. Intense fragrances of raspberry and blackcurrant mingling with liquorice and balsamic. Hints of mint and eucalyptus. In the mouth: powerful, concentrated, full bodied. Smooth and velvety palate enhanced by sweet and silky tannic structure. Fruity, luscious and lengthy aftertaste.

Red meats, mediterranean recipes, pasta and rice dishes, salads and Spanish Tapas. Very good with most cheeses.
